Polishing wax, also known as buffing wax or finishing wax, is a substance used in the final stages of polishing to enhance the shine and protection of surfaces. It typically consists of a blend of natural or synthetic waxes, along with additives such as oils and solvents. Polishing wax is applied onto a surface after it has been buffed and cleaned, and it is then buffed again to achieve a glossy finish. The wax fills in microscopic imperfections, smooths out the surface, and provides a protective layer against moisture, dirt, and UV rays. Polishing wax is commonly used on various materials such as wood and metal to achieve a professional-looking shine and to prolong the lifespan of the surface.
